Wheel Service
The three Auto Soft service shops have the latest generation machinery, operated by well trained personnel. This means higher efficiency for us and a less time for you.Our pit stop is waiting for you.
Dynamic Wheel Balancing
By periodically balancing your wheels you avoid premature and uneven tire wear. If deviations occur, the wheels usually let you know something is wrong through vibrations or unusual sounds at certain speeds.
When that happens it means that you need to come to get your wheel balanced.
In all our service shops wheel balancing is done by performant machines with high precision and in the shortest of time.
Wheel Straightening
Wheels can suffer deformations on impacts with sidewalk curbs or other obstacles. Using a deformed wheel can deteriorate the tire very fast. The signs of this happening are unusual vibrations or sounds. If this is the case, you need to come in for a wheel straightening operation followed by a wheel balancing.
Wheel Allignement
This is about the allignement of the wheels to the moving trajectory of the car and to each other. It is pretty clear how important this is for the maneuverability and the safety of a car.
Any deviation from that allignement can determine unusual tire wear and suspension problems. That's why wheel allignement should be checked at least every 10,000km.
As our principles state, we try to reduce as much as possible the time you need to spend in our service shops. That's why for all our operations we use powerful equipment that give us high efficiency.
Mounting / Demounting
On all our ramps we work with professional pneumatic tools. We can mount/unmount very big wheels with very low tire profiles for sport cars. This type of tires is very hard to mount by unprofessional on normal cars as there is a big risk of damaging the wheel/tire.
Nitrogen Inflation
Our service shops use only nitrogen generators for tire inflation. Using nitrogen instead of plain air has a few advantages:
- longer tire life
- lower tire explosion risk
- pressure checking can be done more rarely
- tire pressure remains constant so tires last longer
- the absence of oxygen slows down the process of wheel rusting
- it's more stable at temperature variations
- it is indicated for vehicles that remain stationary a longer period of time.
Retreading Tires
This is an operation that deepens the grooves in the tires. It can only be done on tires that have "Regroovable" or "U" written on them.
The advantage is that you can prolong the life of your tires without compromising on safety. The regrooving must be done by authorized personnel only as the tire can be easily deteriorated .
